My Story – Lori Cox
For over 40 years, I have had the incredible privilege of serving in the field of education. From teaching in elementary and junior high classrooms to leading as a high school associate principal, every chapter of my journey has been driven by one constant: a deep love for people and a desire to serve.
I’ve always believed that teaching is more than a profession—it’s a calling. I’ve been blessed to walk alongside students during some of the most formative years of their lives, helping them grow not only academically but also as individuals. My heart has always been with those I serve, and I’ve done my best to lead with compassion, integrity, and faith.
Throughout my career, I’ve developed skills that go far beyond the classroom—skills in listening, guiding, and encouraging others. These have allowed me to naturally step into the role of life coach, helping people move in the direction they truly want to go. Whether it’s a person discovering their purpose, a teacher finding their voice, or a friend navigating change, I find great joy in supporting others as they grow into their full potential.
Now, as a New Teacher Mentor and a Certified Life Coach, I get to pour into the next generation. It’s a meaningful way to give back.
I’m proud of the journey so far and excited for what lies ahead. Being an educator, a leader, and a life coach has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
One quote that has always resonated with me is by Henry Ford:
"Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t—you’re right."
This simple truth has guided me and the people I’ve mentored and coached, reminding us all of the power of belief, mindset, and perseverance.
